Email typo checker

What this checker does and does not do

It fixes mistakes that are almost certainly typos: a known provider spelled wrong (gmial.com becomes gmail.com), a wrong ending (.con, .cmo), a comma where a dot belongs, spaces inside an address, a doubled @, or a missing @ before a well-known provider.

It does not check that a mailbox exists, and it never invents an address. Anything it cannot fix with confidence is marked Check for you to look at. For a bigger problem, see our guides on cleaning messy Excel data, removing duplicates and data entry accuracy.
